Rhodes Deluxe Package
For the beach Lovers, a must seen list of Rhodes beaches
Anthony Quinn bay: The beach that won the heart of movie star actor Anthony Quinn rightfully deserves his name. He was linked to the small picturesque cove beach after several scenes of the well-known movie “The Guns of Navarone” were filmed there. In the years that followed, the beach became an attraction for many tourists and famous visitors. With its enchanting emerald waters and the surrounding tall pines it is reminiscent of a vintage postcard.
Ixia beach: Known from its namesake settlement that is famous for its idyllic sunset, Ixia is a seemingly endless, crystal-clear beach, especially-loved by windsurfing enthusiasts, as well as divers, due to its beautiful and extremely rich seabed. It offers many options such as beach bars, sunbeds and places to rent the essentials for water sports.
Lindos beach: Among the island’s most characteristic and traditional villages. From the moment visitors set foot in this picturesque village they feel they are entering another space-time, captivated by its intense aromas, colours and delicious local products. Its allure is heightened by the deep blue, magical bay that spreads out right beneath it. A swim under the Ancient Temple of Lindia Athena on the Acropolis of Lindos suspended high above, imbues the experience with a sense of the history pervading the area.
Kallithea beach: Located 8 km south of Rhodes, Kallithea draws a crowd every hot summer day and offers a rich variety of amenities, such as water sports. Kallithea, which became very famous due to its reference in an old Greek film, “To Doloma”, starring popular Greek film actress Aliki Vougiouklaki, offers many options for fun and food.
Prasonisi beach: It is the favourite destination of those involved in windsurfing and kitesurfing, but not only, since the two bays that form on the sides of the sand strip, offer the choice of a calm sea or a wilder one.
Prasonisi island, located right next to the beach, is not only a beautiful destination, but also a rare creation of nature where two seas meet, the Aegean and the Mediterranean. It is interesting that in winter it is an island and in summer it turns into a peninsula. At the edge of the island there is an abandoned lighthouse where the view is incredible, if the weather is good you can see in the horizon Karpathos island.
The distance from the city of Rhodes is 92 kilometers since it is on the other side of the island, but it is worthwhile visiting this wonderful beach with its islet.

While you are in Rhodes you should definitely walk in the Medieval Town Moat of the castle, which is the most beautiful walk in Rhodes Town, with a total length of about 2.5 km. The scenery is wonderful, with lots of greenery and palm trees. As you walk you will admire the bastions, ramparts, medieval towers and sturdy walls.
The prevailing silence will make you think you are in the countryside. There are three entrances for the Medieval Moat, these are the New Gate of Akandia, the Pili Kanonion and the port of the city.
Stroll down the Old Town's Squares
Inside the old town you will find the squares of Symi, Argyrokastro, Museum (Mouson) and Hippocrates. There are monuments in all of them. Like the knightly Armory, the fountain that was essentially a swimming pool of the early Christian church of Agia Irini of Arnitha (6th century), in Argyrokastro Square.
Hippocrates Square, which you will find entering from the Sea Gate, is the liveliest of all, especially at night, full of coffee and restaurant tables for you to relax. Another popular spot in the Old Town is Orpheus Street, with the plane trees that shade the cafes and restaurants. Prefer to come in the evening when the temperature is ideal to walk around the picturesque alleys.
