A Five-Day of music, art & culture will take place at Art Basel Miami in December 2023. Since launching in 2002, long after the original fair was christened in Switzerland in 1970, Art Basel Miami has created such an art ecosystem full of diversity that there’s something for everyone at this five-day spectacle that takes over Miami. While the epicentre is the Miami Beach Convention Centre, there are dozens of off-shoots in the form of off-beat and off-centre art fairs throughout the city. And not all the art is ungodly expensive. Many incredible pieces are around $1,000, which you can take home from what’s become the world’s most talked about art fair.
In sum, the Art Basel Miami festival is sort of the American art version of the Cannes Film Festival. Throughout the years, Art Basel Miami Beach has grown in popularity giving rise to Miami’s Art Week which features tons of satellite exhibits, parties and all other kinds of artistic events. During the fair, lavish parties and masterclasses are only a part of the extra activities. This is why everyone should experience Art Basel Miami at least once.

Day 1
6th DecemberATHENS – MIAMI
Departure from Athens El. Venizelos airport to Miami International Airport. Get a transfer, either a shared taxi or a bus to your hotel for your check-in. Settle in your room, and then we suggest you first stroll along Ocean Drive to admire the colourful and well-preserved Art Deco buildings.
If you love trying new places, go to the Broken Shaker and start your evening with a fabulous dinner and a unique cocktail. Even if that is your first night in Miami, we recommend taking it easy as you have five days of day & night activities coming up.

Day 2
7th DecemberMIAMI
Start your day by walking to Joe & The Juice and enjoy a great smoothie with a morning snack. Take the way to the beach to join the Untitled Art, an independent art fair taking place annually on the sands of Miami Beach. With a program of curated Special Projects, installations, performances, podcast conversations, Monuments, and events, you will spend most of your day on this sandy beach.
In the early evening, get to the beach in front of the Faena Art Project Room to explore the art installation visible when the sun goes down. Check what Space Park has on for the evening and get your ticket to this fantastic music park. Have your street dinner by the sounds of famous DJs and enjoy a late-night dance at this unique music park.

Day 3
8th DecemberMIAMI ART BASEL DAY 1
Today is the beginning of the most comprehensive international contemporary art fair! Get ready and let yourself be enchanted by the colours and shapes of the artworks all over the city. Start with the Miami Beach Convention Centre, where the heart of Art Basel beats, and admire all the exhibitions. The doors are open from 11:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.
In the afternoon, you can have a break from Art Basel and visit the Miami Beach Fairchild Botanical Garden, where you can admire a lush rainforest with a stream, sunken garden, dramatic vistas, and an enormous vine pergola while enjoying a glass of wine with a light meal at the Garden’s Veranda Bar.
Afterwards, return to the Art Basel and see the rest of the Galleries and the Art installations that create a wonderful atmosphere. When the sun goes down, Art Basel Miami doesn’t slow down; in fact, the city comes alive with a vibrant nightlife during the Art Basel period. Miami is famous for its nightclubs and lounges. Many renowned DJs and artists perform during Art Basel week at clubs like LIV at the Fontainebleau or E11EVEN.

Day 4
9th DecemberMIAMI ART BASEL DAY 2
The second day of the Art Basel and the city is yours! Get to know the most impressive works of art in the exhibition that attracts, this year, collectors, curators, and critics from all over the world! Miami Art Week features more than 20 satellite exhibitions for a decisive week full of art and parties, perfect for late fall in sunny Miami.
Today, you should visit Scope Miami Beach, a Convention Centre on the Miami beach and one of this fair’s must-visited exhibitions. You can also watch a series of performances and immersive installations in its atrium. The doors open from 11:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. For the afternoon, try Aqua Art Miami, the premier location for art lovers to procure works by young, emerging, and mid-career artists. Check the music festival’s line-up in the evening and pick your best match for tonight.

Day 5
10th DecemberMIAMI ART BASEL DAY 3
This is the last day of this fantastic exhibition, where leading galleries from five continents present significant works by the Master of Modern and Contemporary Art and the new generation of emerging stars. Get a bus to downtown Miami for the Red Dot Art Fair near the Wynwood Arts District. Then, visit Pinta Miami at Coconut Grove.
For the rest of the day, we suggest you explore the rest of the city. Take a walk to the Wynwood Walls, an outdoor museum that has brought the world’s greatest graffiti artists and works to Miami, and Little Havana, the heart and soul of the Cuban-American community in Miami.

Day 6
11th DecemberMIAMI – ATHENS
It is time to get back home. Pack your things and then enjoy a last walk on the beach and at your favourite spots in the city and buy some souvenirs. Then check out and get a transfer from your hotel that will get you to the airport. We hope you enjoyed a full 5 days of Art, Music & Parting!
