DAILY ITINERARY

  • Day 1

    ATHENS – LONDON – OXFORD STREET

    22nd December

    Arrive in London and a private transfer will take you to the hotel. Meanwhile take your time to check in, and then enjoy a walk towards Oxford street. Without a doubt, Oxford Street is London’s most famous street connecting Tottenham Court Road to Oxford Circus, with approximately 300 retail shops, plenty of famous restaurants and weekly events it’s always a great start for your London trip. When the sun goes down at Oxford street you will enjoy the city’s best light displays. Therefore, after your walk and shopping at Oxford street have your first dinner at the iconic Harry’s Bar an Italian restaurant located between Oxford Street and Marylebone, enjoy the homemade pasta and the dry martinis.

     

  • Day 2

    BRITISH MUSEUM - WONDERLAND

    23rd December

    Your first full day in London will start with a visit in one of the most renown museums in the world, the prominent British Museum. Learn about the glorious past of thousands of exhibits presented from different eras and civilisations. From Chinese poetry handscrolls to Egyptian artifacts and Parthenon marbles, the Museum hosts the history of thousands of years. Afterwards, grab a taxi and arrive to Covent Garden, Covent Garden is worth visiting all year long, but during the Christmas period, it truly stands out. Furthermore enjoy the beautiful decorations, twinkling lights, and mistletoe chandeliers. Pop in for lunch in one of the little restaurants in the shopping centre.

    After Covent Garden walk towards Piccadilly Circles and have an afternoon tea at Café Royal Hotel. Experience the Award Royal Afternoon Tea at the Oscar Wilde Lounge. Continue this lovely day with a walk at Hyde Park and the famous Christmas Wonderland. Undeniably your Christmas experience has just started! In addition, several festive open air markets, over 100 rides and attractions, a Giant Wheel, a circus, ice show, live music, and all kind of Christmas restaurant pop ups are awaiting for you.

  • Day 3

    HARRODS & ROYAL ALBERT HALL

    24th December

    Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for Harrods! Harrods is the home of the extraordinary, as they well state, but during Christmas they take it to the next level, from the window decoration with the mini-Santa Claus village to the best brands and collections you could ever find. Have lunch at The Grill a must-try meat-lovers restaurant inside Harrods. Get a taxi to South Bank and get on London’s most iconic landmarks, The London Eye. With 135 metres height is one of world’s tallest Ferris wheel! Go back to the hotel and get ready for The Nutcracker, feel the Christmas spirit at Royal Albert Hall with one of the most iconic plays of all times. Continue your night at the Bar of Sexy Fish for a smoked cocktail and enjoy a late dinner at their funky restaurant.

    It’s Christmas Day! If you want to feel the Christmas spirit, we suggest you attend one of the many Christmas Day services in London’s most famous cathedrals the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral. Book your tour and explore the inside of St. Paul’s Cathedral, explore the cathedral floor and crypt, climb its 3 galleries and enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of City of London from the top of the dome. Continue your Christmas day at the Kew Gardens and perhaps an afternoon day at Mayfair for an afternoon tea and Carrot Cake. Get ready for your Christmas dinner for a unique dining and party experience at Bacchanalia Bar Restaurant.

  • Day 5

    WALKING TOUR FROM TOWER BRIDGE TO BIG BEN

    Boxing Day

    Explore the gorgeous landmarks and soak up London’s history as you walk. You can follow the trail in either side of the river, depending on which famous landmarks you would like to see. The South bank is normally busier, start your walk from Bank Station and see the City’s architecture with the stone-faced older buildings that are overshadowed by the new giant towers. After another famous attraction is the Tower Bridge, one of London’s most popular tourist attractions. Have a stop and enjoy the spectacular views.

    Next, walk along the Thames Path. Walking along the South bank, the first major landmark is HMS Belfast. Once you reach London Bridge you can continue to walk closer to the water or go behind Southwark Cathedral to visit the famous Borough Market for and the Vinegar Yard which host an open market with a mix of drinks, food, flea market, and art. At Vinegar Yard you will also find some contemporary made Igloos a perfect stop for a nice lunch. After lunch have an afternoon walk in the area that Big Ben is and then at Mayfair looking over the luxury boutiques of the area. Close your Boxing day with a dinner at Amazonico Restaurant at Berkley square.

  • Day 6

    NOTTING HILL & BACK TO ATHENS

    27th December

    For your Last Day in London, we suggest you visit the famous Notting Hill road which is one of London’s most vibrant and trendy areas, with little cafes colourful buildings and the famous bohemian Portobello Road, famed for its pop-up vintage stores. Get a taxi back to central London and close your London Visit with a glorious lunch at 34 Mayfair. And like that your Christmas week has come to the end. Return to your hotel for your check out. A private transfer will take you to the airport for your flight back home. Arrival in Athens full of memories and new experiences from your wonderful Christmas trip to London!
